SFS presents an evening with four accomplished local songwriters. BRIAR blends a powerful voice with stories about the history & origins of her music, shining a light on singers & tales forgotten by the country that created them. NANCE! is a CHamoru fiber artist, musician, comedian, & software engineer whose work expresses the curiosities at the intersection of Pasifika identity, queerness, & mental illness. K VAN PETTEN's most recent work combines their love for music & poetry into a cassette tape of ambient music & spoken poetry called "For Someone," made in residence with Centrum. HAVILAH RAND's musical journey includes time in the jazz halls of New York City, the alt-rock venues of post-grunge Seattle, & countless coffeeshops & theaters across the US & Europe.
